A medium-length picture about the popular hero - little Mole. In this story Mole by chance finds and breeds a bald eagle. He brings him up as a little mole. When the eagle grows up he returns to where he belongs - high up to the mountains. However, when Mole is in danger the eagle rushes to help him to pay back Mole's generosity.



Mole (Czech: Krtek, Krteček ) is an animated character in a series of cartoons created by Czech animator Zdeněk Miler. The premiere of the first short film with Mole took place at the Venice Film Festival in 1957.[1] Since its inception, the cartoon has gained enormous popularity in many Central European countries, as well as India, China, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Iran, Iraq, Norway, and Japan.
The idea for Krtek came about when Miler wanted to create a cartoon that would explain children the processing of flax. Miler knew that he wanted a strong Disney influence by having an animal as the main character. He said that he got the idea while stumbling over a molehill during a walk
